Our Journey

The Udaan AeroModelling Club, started in 2015 at Poornima College of Engineering, began as a small dream shared by a few passionate seniors. Over the years, it has grown into a vibrant community of students who love aviation, model aircraft, drones, and everything that flies. What started with simple model planes soon expanded into advanced drone building, autonomous systems, and innovative aeromodelling projects.

Udaan’s journey is filled with achievements that the college is proud of. The team has won at IIT Kanpur, IIT Jodhpur, MNIT Jaipur, and JECRC, secured top 10 positions at IIT Bombay, and even swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes at LNMIIT. These victories reflect the club’s hard work, creativity, and engineering excellence.

But Udaan is more than competitions. It’s a space where students learn together—through workshops, hands-on sessions, and late-night build marathons. It’s a place where ideas turn into flying machines and beginners grow into confident engineers.
